Allow the wood glue to set and cure as recommended by the manufacturer. 4 poplar boards, 24 feet of ¾ sisal rope, 12 wood dowel pieces, 2 inches each, 5/8th inch in diameter 1 quart of paint, primer, paint brush, scissors, and a drill with 7/8 inch space bit. Because my cat had used this scratching post so often, and the sisal was already falling off of the post, it was actually very easy for me to remove.
